It's an interesting development. So should we as consumers refuse to subscribe to American streaming services until the demands of the writers are met? There are alternatives such as buying DVDs or pirating. Sure the later is not legal but illegal things have been done before as part of protest against the status quo. Examples are refusing to pay rent.
